With the California State Re-Opening this week, Cypress Church is officially lifting all Covid-19 restrictions and protocols. Masks and social distancing will not be regulated, and masks will continue to be optional everywhere onsite. We encourage you to continue to seek opportunities to grow together in love, unity and respect for one another.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, our congregation has repeatedly proven to be thoughtful, trustworthy, and respectful. We have continued to stay on mission - worshipping Jesus, loving one another, and serving the world. In light of this, and with key pandemic metrics and information at hand, last Tuesday, May 11, the Cypress elders prayerfully and unanimously made the following plans for the summer (May 23-August 29, 2021):
1. We will gather outdoors on Sundays because we can, it’s beautiful outside, and there’s a consensus that it’s better to be outside with respect to the pandemic.
2. We will keep encouraging social distancing, but we will also give attendees the choice to wear a mask or not while they are on the church campus.
3. We will be making all church facilities available for use again, in a measured way.
In a nutshell: starting next Sunday, May 23, we will be outside, masks will be optional, and church facilities will be available. We believe these decisions provide the church with clear direction for moving forward together. The stability of this direction gives us a great opportunity to unite together and continue growing in our love and respect for one another. The elders ask for your support in these decisions as we all seek to discover Jesus’ heart for oneness this year.
Grace and peace,
The Cypress Elders
