Life groups are a strategic part of life at Cypress. This is where (and how) we obey the centerpiece phrase of our purpose statement – LOVE ONE ANOTHER. The Sunday service, where we practice worshiping Jesus together, is really just the first half of a whole experience that is completed in a life group environment in someone’s home. Sermons impress, but life groups help us to process the teaching we have heard so that it can transform us.

Being a part of the a small group has meant immediate family. Each person accepted me wholly and made it feel as though we've always been a great group of friends. MaryJo and Brian are gracious souls who exemplify and honor our Lord not only by opening their home to our group each week, but also by opening their hearts, ears, and arms.

Our small group has grown us as Christians by diving deeper into the sermons, understanding the Word, and using our combined knowledge to serve the community together. Our active small group is our trusted family. Small Groups open up opportunities that are not available in Sunday Services. Small Groups become the very essence of Christianity - learning together, becoming a family, and helping others less fortunate.
