"And He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ..."
Our Spring and Fall Equipping Classes are designed to equip followers of Jesus to better Worship Jesus, Love One Another, and Serve the World, drawing on Scripture as the final authority of how we are to live our lives.
Two classes will be available starting on April 15, 2018 at 8:45am in the Fellowship Hall and East Room.
- Art as Worship - Fellowship Hall - Taught by Margie Anderson and Gretchen Cater. What does it mean to worship God? Our God is a big God, he deserves ALL of our worship. Through working with different mediums and engaging in the Genesis creation story in a hands-on way, we'll explore what it means to worship God with more than just our intellect.
- Reasonable Faith - East Room - Taught by Garreth Tiefenbach. Are you confident in what you believe? Does science, relativism or naturalism have a better explanation or footing to stand on? Does Christianity stand up to the highest levels of scrutiny in the areas of science, philosophy, etc? Come discover a new foundation for your faith to stand firm on.
